After Joe made it to the top of the building he is confused, not only about what just happened, but what will happen now that he is able to do these amazing things.
He thinks to himself. "What did they do to me?" "Can it be fixed?" "Will it eventually go away?"
In his current state of mind he cannot seem to grasp the concept of being dead and still seemingly alive at the same time (much like attempts to grasp the concept of have never existed). He goes down through the roof entrance. Next stop: get a drink, go to sleep, wake up, and forget anything that happened within the recent episode.
