Episode 37: Arrested
You decided that any miner who wastes his whiskey for no good reason is disrespectful. You decided to teach this disrespecting hombre a lesson by beating him soundly.
Perhaps it was the whiskey or perhaps beating hombres was just something you are good at. Satisfied, you figured you had too much to drink and went home. You don't even remember your head hitting the pillow.
The next morning, the mayor summons you. He informs you that there is an 1000 dollar bounty on your head. The sheriff next to him arrests you. Your ride to jail is uneventful, other than the rough ride with your hands tied behind your back. The sheriff open the jail door, which produced a loud screech. He unties your hands and pushes you in the cell. Before you recovered your footing, he slams the jail cell door. It's screech rings loudly in your ear.
