Episode 3: Galaxy Time
Joe doesn't feel too well. And perhaps this doctor could help. He attempts to describe his experience.
"It felts like the universe caved inward on me. I had nausea and nausea upon nausea. It was like falling through all space and through all time. My body was doubling and twisting and twitching of every muscle and nerve. I felt pain, horror and tumultuous fear."
"You are in shock." The "doctor" calmly explains. "You and I were part of an experiment . . . a test. I remember bits and pieces of information, but you don't seem to recall any of it."
"Test? Experiment? What are you talking about? I was ready to pull the trig... I don't even know you."
"But I know you, Joe." The "doctor" said with a smile. "We went through 'Galaxy Time'. The only problem is that I don't know where, or when, we are."
Joe gasps for what to say or ask. Perhaps ask for a lawyer, but this "doctor" doesn't even seem to be aware that Joe is a hitman. He's lost in thought.
The "doctor" continues, "I can't do it without you and your memory, Joe. You are my partner. I only know bits and pieces of how to enter 'Galaxy Time' again. And without your help, we are lost here. If we can get your memory back . . ."
The "doctor" hands Joe a Darvocet. Joe said "Thanks, I feel pain in my head. But it's like trying to open a door in my mind, but can't."
