You awaken to the taste of blood in your mouth. Shocked, you spring to your feet and are horrified when you see Kat's dead body on the bed, covered in blood. You quickly look at the window and notice that it is only daybreak. The chances of someone actually being up to see you trying to run are slim. You turn back to look back at Kat's body and have a dangerous thought. You could turn her. She doesn't look like she has been dead for long and as long as it has been a few hours at least, there is always a chance to turn someone into a vampire after death. But can you do it?
