Dayton, a Smart City

Dayton isn't a place you live in; it's a place that consumes you, one byte at a time. The suits up in the chrome-and-glass towers–the ones who own the air you breathe and the dreams you have–they love to call this place a "Smart City." It's "smart," alright. Smart enough to track your retina scan at every noodle stall, smart enough to predict your credit failure before you even lose your job, and smart enough to keep the neon lights of the holographic ads bright enough to hide the mold growing on the walls of our "efficient" micro-apartments.
